Travel Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist - 2,977 per week - Rapid City, SD

Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures including angioplasty stent placement and other catheter-based interventions Operate specialized imaging equipment monitor patient vitals maintain sterile environments ensure patient safety before during and after procedures Prepare the cardiac catherization lab and ensure all equipment is functional sterilized
+ Assit cardiologists during invasive procedures such as coronary angiography percutaneous coronary intervention PCI electrophysiology studies Monitor record patient vital signs procedural data durinfg procedues Administer contrast media under physician direction monitor for allergic reactions Maintain accurate records of procedues nd ensure proper documentation in compliance with hospital policies Ensure radiation safety practices are followed according to regulatory standards+ Participate in on-call rotations as required Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in cardiovascular technology radiologic technology related field Current Basic Life Support BLS Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support ACLS certification Certification as Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS Radiologic Technician RT preferred depending on state regulations Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy hemodynamics EKG interpretation sterile techniques Excellent communication teamwork problem-solving skills Licensure & Certification Requirements by State California requires CRT Certified Radiologic Technologiyt or RCIS with fluoroscopy permit if performing imaging Florida requiers licensure for radiologic technologists; RCIS typically required fior cath lab roles Texas requires MRT Medical Radiologic Technologoy license fior imaging; RCIS ARRT certification often preffred Oregon New Mexico require licensure froradiologic technologists; RCIS certificatiion oten used Massachusetts New Jersey New York require liscense registration; ARRT oten used States With Voluntary Certification oer No Licensing frorath Techs Many states e.g Arizona Colorado Georgia do not spcifically liscenrCathLabTechs but hospitals offten rquire Rcis Arit certified+
