    The Purpose of Your Role

    To be a part of the Fixed Income Bond Technology Team, a group within Fidelity Investment Asset Management Technology division that designs, develops and supports Portfolio Management, Trading, and Market Surveillance software applications for the Fixed Income Bond business.

    The Expertise We're Looking For

    The Bond Squad Leader will help drive project initiatives across portfolio, trading, and market surveillance applications used by the Bond investment professionals. As Squad Leader, you blend product management and investment management expertise with a passion for delivering results. As the product owner you are the end-to-end gatekeeper of the squad mission, strategy, and tactical execution associated with delivering on strategic priorities. In an agile structure, you will partner with other Fidelity leaders to influence the broader strategic decisions, roadmaps, and resource requirements, set and refine the mission, and bring together a team of chapter members to execute on specific product features. You will ensure alignment on the "what" and "when" work is to be performed through ongoing planning and prioritization of a product backlog. You will enable squad members to work iteratively, innovate through testing and experimentation and learn from failures while celebrating success. You are committed to developing your own expertise and knowledge to ensure you bring the latest thinking to your role.

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar.
    • MBA or Masters is a plus
    • Overall 5+ years of experience in delivering technology solutions
    • 2+ years of experience leading an agile development team
    • 2+ years of experience directing a team of onshore and offshore members
    • Experience working in the financial industry and product experience is a plus

    Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs.
