Join us - become a Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant at Milford Square

As a state-certified Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant, you will be at the heart of the healthcare industry.

As an employee in pharmacies or health insurance companies, you will support patients and customers with expert knowledge on health-related questions.

You will advise on topics such as the effects of medication and dietetics in an exciting and diverse profession. During your training as a PTA, you will acquire medical, biological, and chemical knowledge. You will examine chemical substances, medicinal and basic ingredients, and learn how to produce and test medications. Customer consultation plays an important role as well.

The training lasts a total of 2.5 years and requires a high school diploma. The two-year PTA training at the vocational school in Hamburg is followed by a six-month internship in a pharmacy.


Attention:

For all students who start their training in September 2023 and have their residence in Hamburg, the training is free of charge.

Only one-time fees have to be paid.
