The Caritas Association Gießen e.
V. is currently seeking a qualified Pedagogical Specialist (m/f/d) for the St. Stephanus Children and Youth Support Association for Group 7 in Linden-Forst, New Kensington, PA. This position is open immediately.


Your responsibilities:


  • Designing and implementing daily activities
  • Providing support for health, psychosocial, and family issues
  • Collaborating with birth families/legal guardians (parent and family work)
  • Working with youth welfare offices and other external agencies
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of care plans
  • Acting as a point of contact in crisis situations
  • Organizing recreational activities
  • Documenting and reporting on work activities

Your qualifications:


  • Ability to work independently and with a resourceoriented approach
  • Structured work style and enthusiasm for the challenges of youth support
  • Teamwork, dedication, and empathy
  • Willingness to work flexible hours (shift work)
  • Professional demeanor when interacting with partners
  • Class 3/B driver's license, computer skills
  • Clean criminal record check
