Job Details:


  • Provide care for the elderly in the Greater Washington DC area.
  • Shifts range from 4 to 8 hours in length.
  • Currently hiring for Day shifts, with options available on both weekdays and weekends.

Caregiver Responsibilities:


  • Provide patient care under the direction of nursing staff.
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating.
  • Offer companionship and basic care to clients, fostering meaningful connections.
  • Establish rapport with clients through engaging conversation and companionship.
  • Maintain a clean and healthy environment.
  • Assist in the transportation of clients for errands, doctor appointments, and social activities.
  • Receive paid training to stay updated on the latest Home Care practices.

Requirements:


  • Active DC Home Health Aide license.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Home Health Aid and Caregiving.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Fully vaccinated against COVID with booster(s) as required.
  • Current TB, CPR, and health screening certifications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a professional and friendly attitude, and work well in teams.
  • Enjoy spending time with seniors
