    Job Description

    • Collaborate with product managers and designers to develop new consumer products or enhance existing products to meet market needs.
    • Analyze market and consumer trends to identify product opportunities.
    • Design and prototype consumer products using CAD software and rapid prototyping techniques.
    • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and components for product development.
    • Perform product testing and validation to ensure performance, quality, and safety standards are met.
    • Develop and maintain product specifications, Bill of Materials (BOM), and manufacturing documentation.
    • Manage product development timelines and budgets to meet project milestones.
    • Coordinate product launch activities and support production ramp-up.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and quality assurance to ensure product success.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products.

    Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. Master's degree may be a plus.
    2. 2+ years of experience in consumer product development, preferably in a consumer goods company.

    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo) and other design tools.
    • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, and cost optimization for consumer products.
    • Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) and design for assembly (DFA) principles.
    • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards for consumer products.
    • Excellent project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
    • Creative problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
    • Passion for consumer products and understanding of consumer behavior.
