Description

Schmitt Engineering is a medium-sized company based in Erlangen. With many years of engineering expertise in various industries, we are a partner to the industry.

Our activities cover the entire process chain from planning and project management to development and design, as well as production, assembly, and commissioning.

Your responsibilities will include:

Project planning and implementation of safetyrelated systems (e.g. hazard detection systems, video technology, communication technology, access control) in an internal security department
Creation of specifications and performance specifications in compliance with regulations (e.g. guidelines, laws)
Identification of defects and initiation of corrective measures, as well as conducting functional acceptance tests according to the specifications
Development of training materials for users and operators of safetyrelated systems
Planning and ensuring maintenance and inspection intervals for technical systems

Your profile:

Completed further education as a technician or master in the field of electrical engineering, securityoriented IT specialist, or a comparable qualification
Experience in safety technology and basic knowledge in these areas
Good knowledge of MS Office applications and basic knowledge of common CAD tools
Good German and English language skills, both written and spoken
