We are seeking a Purchasing Analyst for our Procurement & Product Delivery location in Elk Grove Village. We are looking for a team-oriented, detailed individual who will be responsible for procurement, sourcing, and inventory analysis.


What You Will Be Responsible For:

  • Purchase products and manage purchase order process by placing orders, reviewing orders, and updating applicable files.
  • Maintain a global procurement/inventory file per item with ship dates and work with Sales team and senior management on inventory allocation.
  • Produce purchase orders for replenishment of supplies in UK, Chicago, and Netherlands warehouses.
  • Work with senior management and factory in China on managing open purchase orders based on total capacity.
  • Review and analyze the procurement trend and forecast to determine the products that need to be ordered, expedited or deexpedited to maintain adequate inventory levels and delivery metrics.
  • Work with Marketing and Sales teams on customer's requirements and additional sales forecasts and update the planning system.
  • Review impending stock outages and open order report to ensure product arrives on time.
  • Place all orders and coordinate confirmation of each order placed to ensure correct price and quantity.
  • Manage open purchase order report for all vendors to expedite orders and eliminate backorders.
  • Maintain accurate ship dates and run open order past due report regularly.
  • Perform root cause analysis on late shipments.
  • Manage part number item maintenance, set up, and price updates.
  • Distributor Management
  • Communicate requirements to vendors via sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Distribute end of the month shipping report to vendors to evaluate what will be shipped before month end.
  • Manage the sourcing process by working with Marketing and locating products per specifications provided.
  • Manage transfer orders and work orders.
  • Create transfer orders for container shipments and receive intransit containers.
  • Communicate with UPS on inbound containers.
  • Communicate inbound freight with Sales team.
  • Prepare daily count sheets for Warehouse Associates to track counted items.
  • Assist with managing the international drop ship process as needed.
  • Work with vendors on returns.

What you bring to Pivot Point International:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or comparable work experience.
  • At least 3 years' of relevant experience.
  • Detailedoriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines in fast paced environment.
  • Excellent followup skills.
  • Selfdiscipline when working independently but also able to work on a team.
  • Must have a can do and proactive attitude.

Pay:
$55, $60,000.00 per year
