The hospital pharmacy at Charité is one of the largest university pharmacies in Europe and centrally supplies the outpatient and inpatient patients of the three locations of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin as well as other hospitals from the Campus Virchow-Klinikum.

Currently, around 115 employees work in the pharmacy, including 29 pharmacists. The pharmacy has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2015 for many years. The large production departments (cytostatics, TPN, prescription, defect) and a very well-equipped analytics/quality control are worth mentioning. The pharmacy is a training center for clinical pharmacy, drug information, and medication management.
