Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Advise on projects to ensure alignment with strategy and delivery of measurable results.
- Organize and tracks milestones and deadlines while transitioning ownership of performance improvement processes to departmental leaders.
- Work with leaders to facilitate program success using appropriate metrics and methodologies.
- Understands and applies appropriate change management strategies and tools.
- Serve as expert on performance improvement tools and techniques.
- Assist teams with using, collecting and analyzing data for decisions.
- Use appropriate statistical process control methods.
- Mentor teams' skills in using small tests of change (PDSA cycles) to design and incorporate the best solutions into operations.
Qualifications:
Education:
- BA in nursing or related health care discipline required, MA preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum five (5) years of related clinical and management experience in a hospital or clinical setting involving project coordination, quality improvement, evidencebased practice and data measurement
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products.
- Working knowledge of medical terminology, health information technology, and current regulatory and accreditation standards in health care services. Basic understanding of quantitative and qualitative measurement, analytics and evaluation including the use of statistical process control in healthcare.
Licenses, Certifications:

Within one (1) year of hire, achieves and maintains certification as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ).
Physical Requirements:
- Position requires prolonged periods of sitting, performing detailed analysis and use/viewing of a PC throughout the day.

Pay:
Up to $175,000.00 per year
