Job Title:
Attorney Recruiter

The Attorney Recruiter is a new and unique role at Ford, Walker, Haggerty & Behar and will play a pivotal role in identifying, attracting, and hiring top legal talent to join our law firm.

The Attorney Recruiter will be expected to collaborate closely with Partners and the HR Director to understand the firm's staffing needs as well as to develop and execute effective recruitment strategies with respect to open attorney positions.

The Attorney Recruiter's primary responsibilities will include:

Talent Acquisition Strategy:
Develop and execute comprehensive recruitment strategies to attract qualified attorneys practicing insurance defense and civil litigation law.


Interview Coordination:
Coordinate and facilitate interview processes including scheduling interviews, preparing interview materials, and gathering feedback from interviewers.


Market Research:

Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor practices and salaries, and market conditions to enhance the firm's competitive advantage in attracting top legal talent.

Data Analysis and Reporting:

Track recruitment metrics and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives, identify areas for improvement and provide regular updates to Senior Equity Partners and HR Director.

Onboarding:

Partner with HR Director on onboarding efforts to ensure that newly hired talent are effectively onboarded, trained and setup for success at the firm.

Qualifications:

• Deep understanding of the legal industry, including legal practice areas, law school recruiting, and attorney career paths.
• Proven track record of successfully sourcing, attracting, and hiring attorneys at all levels.
• Experience handling recruitment, preferably within a law firm or legal services environment.
• Demonstrates commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in recruitment practices.
• Demonstrates proficient knowledge of employment law and recruiting best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field. Law degree is preferred.

PAY = $75,000 Base plus bonuses for attorney positions filled
