ASSISTANT PROGRAM OPERATIONS MANAGER:


ENTRY LEVEL SALARY:
$57,19- FULL-TIME - LIMITED-TERM


OFFICE LOCATION:
Carvel State Building, Wilmington, DE

  • Time limited position_ coextensive with the program funding availability. Program funding expected through Fall 2025. However, duration depends upon funding availability._
  • As part of the DSHA team, you will have immediate access to health, vision, and dental insurance, vacation and sick leave, paid holidays, tuition assistance, fitness reimbursement, retirement plan, and more while working to further DSHA's mission of providing safe, affordable housing.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:

  • Two years' experience communicating complex regulatory matters, and program policies to a wide variety of audiences in a manner that encourages understanding and support.
  • Two years' experience in interpreting and implementing policies and procedures related to public and affordable housing.
  • Experience in program development policy review and implementation.
  • Experience with data reporting and demonstrated skill with Microsoft Excel.
  • At least five years of prior experience with the affordable housing industry.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:


Essential functions are fundamental, core functions common to all positions and are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all job duties for any one position.

  • Assists Operations Managers with overseeing, coordinating, and providing direction to staff and outside contractors on the administration of the programs.
  • Coordinates with Operations Manager and Housing Stabilization Programs Administration on overall program implementation and administration.
  • Receives and understands directive from DSHA leadership.
