    Job Description

    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Location: Greenville, SC

    Industry: light industrial manufacturing

    Status of Hire: direct placement; permanent

    Pay: $28 per hour + annual bonus

    Hours: 2nd shift (3pm-11pm) with overtime availability

    Summary: Responsible for various maintenance tasks within the plant, including building and equipment maintenance. Tasks may involve wiring, fabrication, assembly, and testing of machines, with the ability to work independently.

    Job Duties:

    • Electrical and basic PLC knowledge required
    • Experience with injection molding and automation machines
    • Ability to read blueprints for mechanical functions
    • Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, water systems, and electrical equipment
    • Offer solutions and modifications to improve existing systems
    • Conduct machine preventive maintenance and rebuilds
    • Train and lead other technicians
    • Collaborate with team on projects and equipment maintenance
    • Identify, source, and requisition parts
    • Maintain facility equipment including air compressors, chillers, and cooling towers
    • Familiarity with robotic and runner pickers
    • Additional tasks as required

    Qualifications and Requirements:

    • High School Diploma or GED
    • Technical Degree in Maintenance (IMT or IET preferred) with 3 years' experience, or 5 years' experience as Mechanical Technician
    • Self-motivated with strong communication skills
    • Knowledge of safe work practices and PPE
    • Experience with fabrication, welding, and maintenance tools
    • Ability to multitask and handle pressure
    • HVAC experience is a bonus
    • Basic computer skills required
