    Job Description

    Job DescriptionDescription:

    Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

    1. Supervise pool and pool area to ensure guest safety.*
    2. Respond and care for emergencies at The Bridgewater Club.*
    3. Complete all required paperwork in a timely fashion.*
    4. Secure all facilities upon closing and other periods where there will be no supervision by lifeguards.*
    5. Administer age appropriate discipline as needed with good judgement and respect of patrons.*
    6. Ensure that all equipment malfunctions are reported in a timely manner.*
    7. Respond to questions and needs of guests and management.*
    8. Effectively work within a group setting to ensure safety of patrons.*
    9. Stay current with and effectively enact facility policies and procedures.*
    10. Attend all trainings including (but not limited to): in-service trainings and organizational meetings.*
    11. Maintain all safety training certifications.*
    12. Performs other related duties as assigned.*

    Requirements:

    Education/Experience:

    • Experience Required

    Qualifications/Certifications:

    • Possess current certification in Lifeguard Training, including First Aid, CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer

    • Regularly see, walk, stand, sit, use hands and arms, talk, hear
    • Occasionally reach, kneel, lift, bend over, climb, balance and/or move up to 50 pounds (higher limits in an emergency)
    • Required to stay in a level of physical conditioning sufficient enough to complete monthly in-service skills and training goals as defined by management.
    • Specific vision abilities required by the lifeguard are close vision, distance vision, depth perception and focusing ability.
