A Day in the Life of an HR Generalist
- Conduct phone screens, prepare offer letters and new hire documentation
- Assist in the roll out and tracking of training sessions throughout the year
- Manage the time and attendance system
- Answer employee questions about HR policies and procedures
- Maintain strict confidentiality in all department and company matters
- Have knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
- Assist in benefits administration
- Ensure HR databases are up to date
- Work with the Director of HR on the Open Enrollment processes and reporting
- Perform administrative HR tasks, such as background checks, file management, I9 administration etc.
- Support performance review process
- Assist the HR Director in other projects and duties as needed
What You Have
- 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Able to work in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Recruiting
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work to accomplish multiple projects
- High level of professionalism and discretion in working with confidential information
- Excel proficiency (i.e., VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Bachelor's Degree required
