Description

A Day in the Life of an HR Generalist

  • Conduct phone screens, prepare offer letters and new hire documentation
  • Assist in the roll out and tracking of training sessions throughout the year
  • Manage the time and attendance system
  • Answer employee questions about HR policies and procedures
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all department and company matters
  • Have knowledge of local, state, and federal employment laws
  • Assist in benefits administration
  • Ensure HR databases are up to date
  • Work with the Director of HR on the Open Enrollment processes and reporting
  • Perform administrative HR tasks, such as background checks, file management, I9 administration etc.
  • Support performance review process
  • Assist the HR Director in other projects and duties as needed

What You Have

  • 2+ years of experience in Human Resources
  • Able to work in a fastpaced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with Recruiting
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and effectively prioritize work to accomplish multiple projects
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in working with confidential information
  • Excel proficiency (i.e., VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables)
  • Experience with ADP Workforce Now
  • Bachelor's Degree required
