Job Description:


Role Purpose:


The AEM Solutions Architect plays an integral role in building a holistic view and roadmap of our technology strategy and processes.

The architect partners with business and technology groups to ensure alignment of technology solutions with the company's strategic objectives.


You will report to the IT Technical Leader director and work hybrid from our Milwaukee (Wisconsin) or Mayfield Heights (Ohio) office.


Responsibilities:


  • Translate client content management requirements into technical designs (including enterpriselevel architecture) and implement strategies using components of the Adobe AEM platform to support delivery environments.
  • Solve technical problems related to content management in collaboration with Adobe support team.
  • Participate and collaborate with the RA Solution Architecture CoE to advance AEM standards and patterns across the organization Provide crossproduct/crosstechnology expertise to capability teams, provides input on and evaluates solution design and is consulted during release planning.
  • Develop and improve Digital Consumer experiences using Adobe's AEM product suite, including DAM per backlog prioritization.
  • Develop features to support the business such as automated workflow management per backlog prioritization.
  • Interact with clients to create endtoend specifications for content & collaboration solutions and present architectural decisions to stakeholders.
  • Conduct code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used.
  • Develop guidelines to ensure that a technology framework is applied across the company, maintains awareness and visibility of organizational best practices.
  • Partner with IT and business leaders to act as an advisor to strategic planning efforts aligned to organizational priority and vision.
  • Help business leaders clarify their objectives and expectations for advancing digital experience investment(s).
  • Engage with the business and teams during ideation and design, guides technology selection, develops architectural artifacts in partnership with lead engineer and dev team(s) and ensure compliance with security, identity and access management, Enterprise Architecture, etc.
  • Introduce and accelerate new technologies and methodologies to support digital transformation.
  • Bring a customer experience lens to IT strategy.
  • Assess the current IT environment and develop a future state IT architecture in partnership with Enterprise Architecture.
  • Support the design and modeling of tactical architectures to develop projects.
  • Support the design and management of reference architectures.
  • Partner with other solution architects to provide secure, scalable architectural solutions.

The Essentials

  • You will have:
  • Bachelor's or Post-Graduate Degree.
The Preferred

  • You may also have
  • Typically requires 12 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems would be good to have.
  • Experience building strategic technology plans and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated experience with business process and performance modeling, benchmarking and financial analysis.
  • Excellent understanding of business complexity and project interdependencies.
  • Partner with multiple team members and influence project decisions.
  • Negotiation skills with business and technical groups.
