The _
Food Runner is a full time seasonal tipped position _who _works with the Expeditor or Sous Chef on the kitchen food line to ensure that all meals are correctly cooked and plated according the restaurants menus.

From the kitchen the Food Runner takes the order to the correct table and guest seat. The Food Runners are expected to have a detailed knowledge of all restaurant tables and seat numbers. They are expected to field and assist with all guest requests.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations pertaining to safe food handling and food storage.
  • Have a detailed knowledge of how all menu items are prepared and plated.
  • Memorize all restaurant tables and seat numbers.
  • Prior to service, properly set up garnishes, breads, and butters in a manner that will not interrupt guest service and experience.
  • Assist with fulfilling all restaurant guests? requests.
  • Foster teamwork in a fastpaced and demanding environment.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Pay:
$6.25 per hour


Shift:

  • Day shift
  • Evening shift
  • Morning shift

Weekly day range:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends as needed

Experience:

Food Running: 1 year (preferred)

  • Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)
  • Restaurant: 1 year (preferred)
