    Description

    Position Summary:

    The Branch Manager will assign and direct all work performed in the branch and supervise all areas of operation. You will manage staff, foster a positive environment, and ensure customer satisfaction and proper branch operation. You will have a hands-on approach and be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales target achievement.

    Responsibilities:
    • Direct all operational aspects, including inventory, warehousing and distribution operations, customer service, administration and sales
    • Assess local market conditions and identify current and prospective sales opportunities.
    • Develop forecasts, financial objectives, and business plans
    • Meet goals and metrics
    • Manage budget and allocate funds appropriately
    • Bring out the best of the branch's personnel by providing training, coaching, development, and motivation in partnerships with Human Resources and Headquarters personnel.
    • Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities.
    • Share knowledge with other branches and headquarters on effective practices, competitive intelligence, business opportunities, and needs
    • Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
    • Adhere to high ethical standards and comply with all regulations/applicable laws
    • Network to improve the presence and reputation of the branch and company
    • Stay abreast of competing markets and provide reports on market movement and penetration
    • All other duties as assigned by the Keeling Company Leadership Team.

    Qualifications

    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    • Supervises Assistant Branch Manager, Sales Associates, Warehouse Attendants/Drivers as is appropriate for branch size and location
    • Reports to the Sales Manager of Keeling Company
    Education/Certifications/Skills/Abilities:
    • Proven branch management and sales experience
    • Track record of over-achieving sales quota
    • Proven Record of Managing Teams
    • Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques and best practices
    • Familiarity with industry's rules and regulations
    • Excellent organizational and merchandising skills
    • Results driven and customer focused
    • Leadership and human resources management skills
    • Proficiency in English
    • Solid communication and interpersonal skills
    • Customer service focus
    • Friendly, helpful, confident and engaging personality
    • Clean Motor Vehicle Report provided by the Department of Motor Vehicles
    • Proof of automobile liability insurance
    • A BS in a technical or agricultural field is a plus, High School degree required
    • Product certifications as required and provided by Keeling Company
    • Keeling Company is a completely tobacco free workplace. All employees must adhere to the no tobacco policy when on any Keeling Co. property, driving Keeling Co. vehicles and representing Keeling Co. at job sites, with customers, or at Keeling Co. sponsored activities.
