Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team.

As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and supporting the medical staff.

BOTH Weekday only and Weekend only position available


Responsibilities:


  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
  • Perform basic laboratory tests and collect specimens
  • Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
  • Prepare patients for examinations and assist with patient positioning
  • Provide patient education on medications, procedures, and followup care
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records
  • Handle medical administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and coding

Requirements:


  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or certification is a plus
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and basic physiology
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to provide excellent patient service
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fastpaced environment
  • Proficiency in medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification
  • 3 years experience as Medical Assistant
