Reports to:
Dockmaster
The Eastern Yacht Club is seeking a skilled and licensed Launch Operator for the 2024 season.

As a Launch Operator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth and safe operation of our launch services, providing members and guests with exceptional service and experiences on the water.

Responsibilities:

Operate and navigate the club's launch vessels in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all US Coast Guard regulations and club policies.
Transport members, guests, and supplies between the club and moored boats with professionalism and courtesy.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of launch vessels, ensuring timely service for our members
Communicate effectively with the Dockmaster and other staff to coordinate schedules, respond to member requests, and address any issues or emergencies that may arise.

Requirements:

Valid US Coast Guard license (Limited Master's License or tonnage license preferred).
Previous experience operating launch vessels or similar watercraft.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
