    Job Overview

    This position is responsible for the overall planning, designing, and configuration of the organization's information systems architecture. The Solutions Architect collaborates with various stakeholders to understand requirements, technologies, and development needs. They analyze design alternatives, select suitable options, and mentor subordinates. The Solutions Architect is a recognized expert in their field.

    Ideal Candidate

    The ideal Solutions Architect will guide the creation and maintenance of designs for Hillsborough County BOCC's Information and Innovation Office. They will ensure alignment with ServiceNow architecture principles, emphasizing reusability and reliability. This role demands a problem-solving mindset, particularly in ServiceNow, and extensive experience in IT product design and implementation.

    Salary

    $80,204 - $152,630

    Duties and Responsibilities

    • Partner with business and technology experts.
    • Lead the design of architectures for projects.
    • Develop system architecture and application activities.

    • Provide supervision and training to technical staff.
    • Other duties as needed.

    Job Specifications

    • Extensive knowledge of computer systems, application, and security measures.
    • Experience with system road mapping and hardware solutions.

    • Expertise in managing system architecture solutions.
    • Strong leadership and negotiation skills.
    • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects effectively.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

    Working Conditions and Physical Demands

    • Performed in a typical office environment with occasional travel.
    • May involve light lifting, bending, and standing.

    Minimum Qualifications Required

    • Four-year degree in computer technology or related field.
    • Seven to ten years of experience in enterprise systems architecture.
    • Or equivalent education and experience.
