Prenatal Class Facilitator - New York, United States - The Parent Collective

We are actively looking for RNs or Certified Nurse Midwives with pre and post natal experience to teach an evidence-based prenatal class in the Upper East Side of NYC.

Hours are flexible and you will be part of a growing company.

Commitment is only 2 hours a week for a month at a minimum but there is opportunity to work more with hours usually falling on a weekday evening or weekends.

Classes taught include Labor and Delivery, Pain Management and Relaxation, Bottle and Breast Feeding and Newborn Care and Postpartum Transition.

It is an agenda free class where everyone is welcome to share their thoughts, hopes and fears. Although we will provide you with a curriculum, the classes are very relaxed and discussion based.

All classes are taught in beautiful venues and participants are sorted by neighborhood and due date to create a real feeling of community.

This is an opportunity to connect pregnant couples through the amazing journey of having their first baby and our hope is that couples leave the class with a community to lean on during their transition to parenthood.
