Strategic Purchaser - Plastics & Mechanical Components (m/f/d) - 100%

Responsibilities

What will be your area of responsibility?

  • Analysis of the commodity portfolio and further development of the current commodity strategy, taking into account the target commodities plastics & mechanical components
  • Design and implementation of an individual sourcing strategy for the assigned direct commodities
  • Identification, evaluation and selection of suppliers (benchmarking)
  • Ensuring a sustainable supplier base in line with procurement requirements and strategy
  • Coresponsibility for internal continuous improvement projects with the aim of optimizing the process landscape within the procurement organization
  • You act as a sparring partner and change agent for internal stakeholders in the commodity groups and identify trends and areas for action at an early stage
  • Ongoing cost reduction, quality, delivery capability and risk analysis in the managed commodities
Qualifications


Talents and experiences that you ideally bring with you:

  • Relevant professional experience (at least 3-5 years) in strategic purchasing on the industrial side
  • Ideally, you already have experience in building structures, processes and suppliers
  • Professional experience in commodities is desirable
  • Negotiation skills in German and English
  • Experience with ERP systems in the purchasing environment (e.g. SAP, D365)
