    Explore the opportunity for the role of Senior EHS Professional at our USA EHS team located in Issaquah, WA. You will play a key role in enhancing EHS processes at Siemens Healthineers, actively participating in continuous improvement initiatives.

    This position requires on-site presence at our Issaquah, WA office.

    Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage EHS programs and related documentation to meet governmental and company standards.
  • Assess proposed EHS laws and regulations at Federal, State, and local levels to determine their impact on compliance programs and business operations. Update/develop programs as necessary.
  • Apply a continuous improvement approach to EHS programs, ensuring compliance, injury prevention, and risk mitigation.
  • Collaborate with site leaders to enhance safety culture, awareness, and accountability in support of EHS initiatives.
  • Build strong relationships and collaboration with employees.
  • Ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and business requirements.
  • Oversee EHS projects.
  • Supervise the site injury/illness program for USA sites and offer assistance to other global sites.
  • Manage the Cority EHS software tool for USA sites, developing metrics and presenting monthly status reports.
  • Lead the Emergency Response Program.
  • Participate in various workplace consultation committees at USA sites, such as the Safety Committee, First Aid Team, Green Team, and Issaquah Lab Manager Safety committees.
  • Support environmental compliance initiatives.
  • Update and establish EHS training programs as needed at the site.
  • Travel up to 25%, domestically and internationally, for EHS meetings, site support, and professional development.

  • Strong project management abilities.
  • Proficient in multitasking and problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Skilled in Excel and data analysis, Microsoft Word, and Power Point.
  • Active listening skills with a focus on understanding different perspectives and expectations.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to achieve results with minimal guidance.
  • Dedicated to delivering results and continuously improving performance.
  • Conduct audits and on-site compliance assessments as required.

    • Requirements for this position:

  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive EHS experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Hygiene, Safety, Environmental Engineering, or related scientific field.
  • Over 3 years of experience implementing ISO certifications and standards.
