    Description


    We are seeking a seasoned Lead Cost Estimator with a strong background in estimating large and complex engineering and construction projects within the commercial construction industry.

    The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of local construction codes and standards, and have the capability to develop conceptual through detailed cost estimates.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage the cost estimating process for commercial construction projects from conceptual to detailed stages.
    • Analyze project drawings, specifications, and other documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
    • Collaborate with project teams to understand project requirements and develop comprehensive cost estimates.
    • Conduct thorough cost analysis, including material, labor, and equipment costs, to ensure accuracy and reliability.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and local construction regulations to inform cost estimates.
    • Provide timely and detailed reports on cost estimates, including cost breakdowns and variance analysis.
    • Assist in value engineering initiatives to optimize project costs while maintaining quality standards

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
    • 5 years of experience in cost estimating for commercial construction projects.
    • Proficiency in cost estimating software and tools.
    • Strong understanding of engineering and construction principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
    Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $60, $90,000.00 Per
