Shipping/receiving Clerk - Alsip, United States - Roosevelt Paper

National, well established printing paper distributor and convertor is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team in our Alsip, IL location.
This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.Full time shift hours are 12pm to 8pm. Part time hours are available.
Essential job functions:
- Handling the shipping/receiving window for driver's delivering and picking up product.
- Making sure all invoices/purchase orders between us and the drivers match correctly.
- Assign driver's to bay doors for unloading/loading.
- Notify a tow motor driver to unload or load the truck(s) waiting.
- Verify that all roll/skid counts are correct for both delivery and pickups with driver's and get all necessary paperwork signed.
- Communicate discrepancies or issues with internal team.
- Scan all paperwork and bills into the computer.
Essential Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a shipping/receiving or warehouse role preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
