This firm is dedicated to providing top-tier audit and tax services, with a special emphasis on serving nonprofit organizations.As they expand, they are seeking to add a dedicated and experienced Tax staff accountant to their team, someone who is eager to grow professionally within a CPA firm environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review Form 990 tax returns for nonprofit clients with precision and expert knowledge.
- Provide tax compliance and advisory services that meet the unique needs of nonprofit organizations.
- Participate in comprehensive audits, delivering insights and adding value to our nonprofit clients' operations.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in tax law and nonprofit regulations to serve as a knowledgeable resource for both clients and the firm.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through consistent, highquality interactions and services.
- Support the firm's growth by participating in strategic planning and business development initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with the firm's partners and staff on various taxrelated projects, expanding into other areas such as individual and corporate tax matters as needed.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years' experience in public accounting, with direct experience in tax preparation and auditing.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or advanced tax certification is preferable.
- Deep understanding of nonprofit tax issues, especially related to Form 990 a plus.
- Proven ability in conducting and managing audit processes.
- Exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with tax software, MS Office, and QuickBooks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex issues clearly and concisely.
- Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are advantageous but not a requirement.
Pay:
$63, $100,000.00 per year
