Our co-ops gain exposure to real projects while working side by side with senior staff Through our Developing Professionals Network co-ops gain mentorship networking opportunities and lifelong career connections.
This temporary position is seeking individuals currently enrolled in an Undergraduate or Graduate degree program through Drexel University This co-op is anticipated to take place during the Spring and Summer 2026 semesters The anticipated dates of this co-op are March 30th – September 18th as part of the Drexel Co-op Program Start dates may be flexible Your Impact Education Students will have the opportunity to gain experience in projects within the infrastructure commercial higher education science & technology healthcare sectors WSP's projects include both renovation new construction both locally nationally Successful candidates will participate in all aspects of plumbing fire protection engineering design as it relates to building construction industry This excellent opportunity for students looking toi gain hands-on experience field engineering Throughout cycle Co-op should expect Support variety engineering tasks goal develop technical social ethical skills Learn basic principles Plumbing Fire Protection Engineering Become familiar reading interpreting building plans plumbing/fire protection diagrams Assist project research field work preliminary design calculations analysis Learn Autodesk Revit model Plumbing Fire Protection components systems Collaborate senior engineers develop engineering drawings specifications Travel job sites survey review existing buildings construction progress various stages project Become familiar various engineering standards codes Assist collecting maintaining project documentation Complete training assigned tasks Exercise responsible ethical decision-making concerning company funds resources conduct adhere WSP Code Conduct related policies procedures Perform additional responsibilities business needs Occasional travel may required depending on project-specific requirements Please note that there no relocation housing assistance associated with this co-op
