Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Maintains agency personnel files in accordance with licensing and quality standards, updating, purging, and providing reports as needed; maintains general HR and benefits files, including plan documents, personnel policies, etc.
- Maintains employee data records in the HRIS system and audits biannually.
- Manage all new benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Maintains Status Change Forms and coordinates with payroll, as needed, to make employee changes in the HRIS system.
- FMLA, LOA leaves and returns, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc.
- Responsible for quarterly reporting for HR Scorecard (headcount, time to fill, attrition, exit interviews, LOAs)
- Monitors HR inboxes daily; answers/forwards questions to appropriate person; prints all incoming payroll pieces; routes to the appropriate folder(s).
- Prepares/audits/submits expense vouchers.
- Assists in the annual open enrollment process with carrier connections, rate changes in the HRIS system, enrollment changes, etc.
- Assists in managing and maintaining office operations, systems, and procedures such as answering main line calls, ordering HR supplies, bereavement plants, etc.
- Participates in relevant committees (training, vendors, etc.)
- Notifies supervisor of significant or unusual events
- Performs other related duties as needed
Qualifications:
Education
- AA/AS degree or equivalent; BA/BS preferred.
Experience
- 23 years prior experience
Other
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHUrequired levels of coverage for auto insurance.
Required Skills:
- Prior experience with human resource information (HRIS) systems.
- Strong organizational, oral, and written communication skills; excellent customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities according to deadlines.
- Knowledge of current HR protocols
- Collaborative, with the ability to work with a diverse group of people.
- Proven ability to learn new skills and solutions and to work independently to achieve goals.
- Passion for innovative HR solutions and process improvement
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to exercise discretion and ensure confidentiality.
