Purpose of the Job:

Ball Horticultural Company, a privately held global leader in the horticultural industry, seeks a self-motivated Treasury Accountant to join its treasury team.

This role plays an integral part in the Treasury function, tasked with a variety of responsibilities including day to day cash management, cash accounting, foreign currency transactions, global cash and debt reporting, external bank platform management, account reconciliation responsibilities and identifying/implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

Administer and monitor the daytoday banking activities of the company
Monitor and report cash positions in multiple currencies, daily/week/monthly as required
Analyze, reconcile and record general ledger account activity for assigned accounts
Serve as primary point of contact for bank and cash related inquiries
Support Assistant Treasurer with foreign currency management, including spot trades and forward contracts
Maintain reporting for intercompany debt for Ball's global operations
Generate detailed reports and analysis to support the annual budget process
Provide documents as needed for the annual external audit
Support accounting and schedules for fixed assets
Assist in upgrading global treasury and cash management processes
Perform other projects, analysis and duties as requested

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting OR 3+ years of progressive experience in a treasury function
Knowledge of corporate cash management, financial accounting, and general ledger
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office; strong Excel skills required
Experience with SAP ECC 6 or S/4 a plus
