***Under the supervision of the Activities Director, assists in carrying out planned activity programs for residents. Maintains records, transports residents to and from activities, and performs other clerical and maintenance functions.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assists the Activities Director with activity programs for residents
  • Notifies the Activity Director of supplies needed for the operation of the activities program
  • Maintains attendance records for resident activities on a daily basis
  • Assists in transporting residents to and from activities
  • Provides excellent service. Addresses family satisfaction issues immediately in a professional manner and keeps the Charge nurse informed. Assists in resolution of any issues
  • Decorate facility with seasonal décor including holiday decorations
  • Maintains resident confidentiality. Complies with all company, state, and OSHA standards
  • Performs other related duties as required or requested

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)

  • Highschool diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in English

Work Environment - Office

This job operates in a professional office environment with mínimal exposure to dust, chemicals or noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
