    **Job Title:**

    Warehouse Supervisor

    **Job Summary:**

    The Warehouse Supervisor position encompasses transportation and warehousing. It involves ensuring structures are in place to monitor the flow of goods and materials.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

    Ensure the smooth and efficient operation of supply chain processes. Typical work activities will usually include:

    Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods

    Co-coordinating and controlling the order cycle for the office and field personnel

    Scheduling deliveries for various job sites

    Allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs

    Liaising and negotiating with customers and suppliers

    Shipping and Receiving - FedEx, UPS, Freight, etc.

    Forklift, pallet jack and/or hand cart operation

    Maintain working relationships with recycling , and waste management vendors

    Implementing health and safety procedures

    Manage staff training

    Motivating other members of the team

    Assist in maintaining refrigerant recovery, tool allocation, and material purchase and returns

    Planning projects with Project Managers, field superintendents and service techs

    Inventory planning

    Perform other duties as assigned

    **Qualifications:**

    **Education and/or Experience**

    High School diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of two (2) years experience in the Logistics/Distribution discipline. Minimum 2 years of medium weight (stake body, 10 bed) truck experience preferred. Commercial/industrial HVAC experience is a plus. Candidates must possess good communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to ensure effective teamwork and customer relations. Must meet MVR requirements to operate a company vehicle.

    **Language Skills**

    Must possess good communication skills (verbal and written).

    **Supervisory Responsibilities**

    This job has no direct supervisory responsibilities.

    **Mathematical Skills**

    Must possess basic math skills. Ability to perform these basic operations using units of American money and weight measurement, and volume.

    **Reasoning Ability**

    Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed and sometimes complex written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.

    **Certificates, Licenses, Registrations**

    Valid Drivers License, CDL License preferred.

    **Physical Demands**

    Must be able to climb ladders, lift and carry 50 or more pounds, distinguish colors for electrical work, use hand tools and tolerate confined spaces. Work will involve heights and seasonal temperature extremes.

    **Work Environment**

    The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required while performing tasks.
