Warehouse Production Supervisor**Job Purpose**
Deployment Supervisor
We are currently looking for a qualified, motivated self-starting candidate to fill a supervisory need within our deployment team. This is a high profile position that requires hard work and a great attitude in a fast paced work environment. This position requires a candidate with the proven ability to drive process improvements and the ability to keep pace with daily demand while motivating others to meet the challenges of an extremely deadline-driven customer focused environment. The candidate will oversee a deployment crew of approximately 10 to 20 employees potentially across multiple shifts. Provides leadership to operation by developing and implementing project plans that improve processes and identify cost reduction opportunities. Supervisor will be expected to identify and develop goals and objectives to meet the businesss vision, mission, and long range strategic plans. This position has direct responsibility for ensuring all work activities under its span of control are performed with attention to the highest standards of quality, safe processes, and a focus on continuous improvement.
Deployment Supervisor Main Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
Supervise, direct and monitor deployment operations of all employees on multiple shifts
Direct ownership of day to day people management, inclusive of performance evaluations; onboarding and corrective action plans
Discipline and counsel employees for unwanted behaviors to include documentation of performance
Ensure employees are following company workplace safety and work policies
Effectively communicate with management key issues across all functions
Continuous review of work throughout the process ensuring procedures are followed and work is performed properly
Set goals and develop strategies to achieve those goals
Project management-ability to identify and effectively oversee projects to completion
Mentor, train and develop teammates for career progression and learning
Ability to develop and share best practices across the shifts.
Any other duties as assigned
JOB REQUIRMENTS:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Operations, or Management (preferred)
Minimum 2 years Management experience in deployment/manufacturing environment
Must have experience in leading people effectively in a team setting and the ability to manage staff
Ability to teach, coach and give instruction to individuals and as a group
Willingness to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Ability to quickly learn and become proficient with warehouse management system
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and emails. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
