Fiscal Manager
Inwood Community Services, Inc. (ICS) is a community based multiservice organization that believes every individual deserves the opportunity to grow.

Today we are an $8 million dollar agency with a proud reputation of providing quality professional services with friendly and bilingual staff, many of whom are from the community we serve, helping to create a familiar, grassroots quality to ICS.


Directly reporting to and working with the Chief Financial Officer, the Fiscal Manager's primary purpose is to act as the CFOs deputy in the onsite office and personnel management of a team of 7 staff members.

In serving this purpose the Fiscal Manager will ensure that fiscal department has the systems and procedures in place for effective daily operations, including both maintaining the fiscal office and managing staff to complete accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, benefits administration, clinical billing and grants administration.

The Fiscal Manager will be supported by and work closely with the CFO, with the ultimate goals of effective fiscal operations, a well utilized and well appreciated fiscal team, the timely issuance of fiscal reports, and the production of flawless audits.


Responsibilities
Fiscal Operations

  • Maintain frequent contact with the Chief Financial Officer, ensuring that she is aware of the state of daily fiscal operations and that those operations move the department forward towards all reporting and regulatory deadlines.
  • Oversee all daily fiscal operations, including managing staff to complete accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, human resources, benefits administration, clinical billing and grants administration.
  • Ensure all processes have two staff members trained to complete them, with the Fiscal manager trained in all as a backup.
  • Coordinate contractual audit activity, delegating as warranted while remaining involved.
Team Leadership

  • Leverage strengths of the current fiscal team members, hire new staff as needed, help to clarify roles and responsibilities, and develop and implement training programs to maximize and reach optimal individual and organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership in strengthening internal communications with staff at all levels throughout the organization; create and promote a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Support and guide the team in transitioning from remote to predominately onsite work.
Office Space

  • Create and maintain a clean, efficient, welcoming work environment with wellmaintained data.
  • Rebuild the physical office as the operational center of the fiscal department.

Qualifications

  • Technologically savvy with experience in accounting software preferred.
  • Commitment to recruiting, mentoring, training, and retaining a diverse team; the foresight and ability to delegate accordingly.
  • Keen analytic, organization and problemsolving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; experience in effectively communicating key data to diverse stakeholders.

Schedule:
Onsite at our Inwood office 9:00am-5:00pm Monday-Friday with a 1-hour paid lunch break.


Salary:
$70,000.00-$80,000.00, commensurate with experience.


Pay:
$70, $80,000.00 per year
