Role Overview:

is seeking a full-time Security Guard responsible for providing superior physical security services in addition to emergency response planning for our and McLean office(s).

The Security Guard will display exceptional customer service and communication skills.

This position is a physical security role in which security guards are required to observe and report as they patrol the premises and monitor camera feeds.

Responsibilities:

Patrol assigned areas to deter unauthorized entry, protect property, and perform entry controller duties
Monitor and secure all entry control points, ensuring each person is validated upon entry
Exercise judgment and use discretion in dealing with emergencies and security violations encountered
Receive specialized training in methods and techniques of protecting security areas
Control access to building and grounds allowing access under company policy
Protect personnel and property in a professional manner
Provide first aid, CPR and assist during emergencies as necessary
Be fully familiar with building layout, floor plans, manual fire alarm locations, fire extinguisher locations, Automated External Defibrillator (AED) locations, emergency routes, and evacuation assembly points
Remain on post until properly relieved and pass all information relevant to the post to the relieving Security Officer
Perform activities in exterior and interior work environments, sometimes in inclement weather
Perform other duties as assigned and shift flexibility as needed

Qualifications:

1 year in a security position
High School Diploma or GED
A valid US Driver's License
Fluently read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to perform shift work
Basic first aid skills
Qualification/certification as a security guard or military

Covid Vaccination Requirement
