Woodforest Academy is now hiring for a pre-school teacher. We are looking for patient, loving, dependable and responsible individuals.

Positions require preparing and maintaining an environment where young children feel loved and cared for while providing developmentally appropriate curriculum and opportunities for learning.

Also required is taking care of the children's physical needs, which includes but is not limited to diapering/potty training, feeding and comforting children, as well as detailed documentation and organized record keeping.


  • 5 years previous experience in a licensed child care facility
*High School Diploma/GED

*Ability to pass Background Check

*No Criminal History*Good Communication Skills

*Fluency in English (written and spoken)

*Exemplary references

(30-40 hrs per week)


Pay:
$ $14.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Education:


  • High school or equivalent (required)

Experience:


  • Childcare: 2 years (required)

License/Certification:

  • Driver's License (required)
  • CPR/1st Aid Certification (preferred)
