    POSITION TITLE: Vice President of Information and Technology

    COMPANY: Join our team at YWCA of Metro Chicago, a social enterprise committed to eliminating racism and empowering women.

    STATUS: Exempt, FT

    GRADE: 8

    SALARY: $125k-$135k/yr

    DEPT/PROGRAM NAME: Information of Technology

    REPORTS TO: Chief Executive Officer

    SUPERVISES: IT Manager

    Summary

    • Manage operations and infrastructure of the IT team with a focus on long-term innovative impact.
    • Play a key role in advancing the mission of YWCA of Metro Chicago.
    • Lead the IT department and establish centralized data operations.
    • Work closely with senior leadership to develop technology policies and procedures.

    COLLABORATES WITH: All YWCA employees, IT team, external agencies, vendors, and employer partners.

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Build a service-oriented IT function to empower staff and partners.
    • Optimize IT department structure and staffing.
    • Develop user-friendly processes and support systems.
    • Ensure optimal system performance and minimize outages.
    • Create standards for system selection, implementation, and support.
    • Lead IT strategy and evaluate Enterprise System Architecture.
    • Manage IT operations and resources effectively.
    • Implement business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
    • Manage IT projects from inception to delivery.
    • Streamline and automate data operations.
    • Optimize technology use in consultation with stakeholders.

    OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED: Responsibilities beyond the position's scope may be assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in IT or related field.
    • 8+ years experience in IT operations and project management.
    • Strong knowledge of Microsoft technology stack.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT: Moderate noise level, movement, and communication requirements. Must be able to travel to all facilities.

    WORK SCHEDULE: Monday–Friday with occasional evenings and weekends.
