Bend Test Operator 1st Shift, Tuesday to Saturday (5:30 AM to 2:30 PM)


Salary:
$20.25 Hr.

(eligible for a Quarterly Bonus)


JOB SUMMARY:


Sets-up and operates a machine to that tests the composite core in a prescribed quality control process in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.

Adjusts machine setting to complete tasks according to specifications in a timely fashion.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Sets up and operates the testing of the composite core to a prescribed bend radius.
  • Reads and interprets procedures and guidelines.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks to complete goals.
  • Works under general supervision.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • Must have 1 year of experience in quality control/ quality assurance.
  • Follow documented processes using best and safe practices.
  • Use and operate measuring instruments, such as calipers.
  • Familiar with quality paperwork and understand ISO and quality control processes.
  • Maintain a high degree of integrity in recording quality issues.
  • Willingness to cross train and share knowledge and skills with others.
  • Maintain required and accurate paperwork.
  • Housekeeping/maintenance of work area and machinery.
  • Identify and initiate product and process improvements.
  • Must be capable of lifting 50 lbs.
  • Operate various types of forklift and pallet jacks.
  • Execute basic math skills.
  • Perform in a team environment.

Salary:
$21-24 /Hr. (Rate includes shift differential, quarterly/sign-on bonuses), please note that the hourly salary depends upon position and shift.
