Summary
Responsible for maintaining sanitary conditions and the environmental care of the facility.


Essential Responsibilities

• Responsible for performing cleaning and sanitation functions where assigned within the facility.
• Responsible for maintaining record as assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Use appropriate equipment, furnishings, and supplies when required.
• Assist in maintaining the inside of the building to ensure cleanliness and safety.
• Performs all other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor.
• Adhere to established safety procedures.
• Assists staff and residents in emergency situations.
• Provides excellent customer service to all who interact with the program.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma preferred.
• Ability to remain calm and handle emergencies appropriately.
• Must be able to lift push/pull at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
• Must follow the facilities and the organizations policies and procedures.
• Must be about to relate to and work with ill, disabled, elderly, emotionally upset people within the facility.
