Production Planner job overview:

Production Planner Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist in daily and weekly production planning.
Perform Detailed inventory analysis to determine production needs.
Coordinate production flow.
Provide Administrative support to Production Supervisor
Adjust and correct work booking through ERP.
Analyze and report production scrap rate.
Find ways to reduce costs and maximize quality.
Collaborate with Supply chain and Production.

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and certifications):

B.S. in Operations Management or related fields
Internship experience in manufacturing and/or fabrication or Supply Chain is preferred but not required.
Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment and quality assurance techniques is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft suites such Excel and Word
Strong Mathematical and analytical skills
