Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) at Optimum Performance Institute

Location:
Woodland Hills, CA


Shift:
Monday through Friday 9:00am -5:30pm


Rate:
RN $45:00 - $48.00 per hour LVN $ $38.00 per hour

Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide highquality clinical care and support to residents.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and record residents' vital signs and medical information.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate treatment strategies.
  • Offer education and support to residents and their families regarding treatment plans and health maintenance.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to professional standards and guidelines.
  • Participate in the development of health care plans.
  • Assist in emergency nursing procedures necessary for prompt control of changes in resident's physical condition.
  • Perform routine nursing care to assigned residents, while ensuring the safety and effectiveness of the environment.

Qualifications:

Qualifications:


  • Current California RN or LVN license in good standing.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a mental health setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of nursing best practices.
  • CPR certification required.
