What You'll Do
Develop a plan and implement the necessary processes and procedures to enable ISO 14001 & ISO 45001 certifications
Create and implement the Environmental Management System (EMS) and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS)
Design and implement safety training and communication programs across the manufacturing team and wider Lambda organization to build a safety culture
Maintain working knowledge to ensure compliance of government and industry environmental, health & safety codes and standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to initiate safety standards for manufacturing processes, including but not limited to: incoming inspection, assembly, test, QA and shipping
Create a Job Safety Analysis and ergonomic assessments of manufacturing processes to identify a risk map and implement actions and improvement projects
Determine and own Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), a method of measuring and reporting to drive safety and facilities maintenance performance and improvements throughout the organization
Create and own a system of monitoring safety hazards, near misses and incidents, as well as identifying root causes and tracking actions to eliminate risks
Create and own a facility preventive and corrective maintenance program including the selection and control of third party vendors for cleaning, building and equipment maintenance policies/contracts, etc
Execute building changes and improvements related to floors, walls & ceilings or building installations and equipment
Maintain a project management board for all building changes and improvements projects
You
Have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Have 3-6 years of environmental, health & safety work experience
Have 2-3 years of facilities work experience
Are proficient with EHS related ISO certification requirements and legal compliance
Are proficient in Job Safety Analysis and ergonomic assessments
Have working knowledge of structured problem solving tools including but not limited to root cause analysis, cause & effect diagram, 5 whys, containment and corrective actions
Have working knowledge of facilities TPM or equivalent facilities preventive and corrective maintenance program experience
Have strong team and interpersonal skills with proven ability to lead and influence others to make positive change
Are able to work with, assist, and influence the Manufacturing team
Nice to Have
Experience with 8D methodology applications regarding safety

Salary Range Information
Based on market data and other factors, the salary range for this position is $120,000-$150,000.
However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.
