- Current nurse practitioner license in good standing issued by the Texas Board of Nursing.
- ANCC certification as a Psychiatric /Metal Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Current DEA license.
- 1-2 years of experience working with pediatric and adult populations in a psychiatric setting. At this time we are not accepting new graduates.
- The nurse practitioner works collaboratively with colleagues to provide psychiatric evaluations/assessments and follow up care to allow for comprehensive care and continuity of care in a manner consistent with the scope of practice and quality of care standards.
- Ability to work independently.
- Maintains standards of confidentiality and documentation using electronic based medical record and prescription program.
