Transitions Healthcare, LLC is currently seeking an Accounts Payable (AP) Associate- The Accounts Payable (AP) Associate will report to the Accounts Payable Manager and will support a variety
- In this role, the Accounts Payable Associate will resolve vendor inquires regarding account
- Perform weekly and interim check runs as required.
- Process accounts payable invoice.
- Work closely with AP team on open invoices and credits.
- Accurately codes general ledger.
- Update cash logs for each facility.
- Monitor AP for multiple facilities.
- Complete regular reconciliation on selected accounts.
- Actively participates in end of month procedures.
- Makes bank deposits as requested.
- Processes annual 1099 forms for vendors.
- Assist finance team with month end processing, including accruals and account reconciliations.
- Assist with company audits that come up throughout the year.
- Work with colleagues to identify the reasons invoices were skipped or short paid and work on
- Files and maintains all financial documents in an organized manner.
- Work with a paperless system, Procurement Partners, processing AP.
- The accounts Payable Associate will protect the business against unintentional overpayments.
- Communicate with management and colleagues to facilitate resolution of issues and concerns.
- Comply with Employee Handbook and company policies and procedures.
- Performs other duties as directed from time to time by supervisors and/or management.
Requirements/ Minimum Qualifications
- Associates degree in accounting, related field, high school diploma or equivalent AND (2) years'
- Ability to successfully operate a computer, accounting software, and adding machines
- General knowledge of accounting ledgers and accounts payable forms
- Ability to timely complete multifaceted functions with mínimal supervision.
- Be organized, detailed, efficient and accurate in work performance
- Possess and display excellent customer service skills
- Possess and display proper communication skills which exude patience and selfdiscipline.
- Function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity, and the ability to work effectively on

Pay:
Up to $60,000.00 per year
