Are you passionate about computer hardware and enjoy helping your friends with their PC problems?

Then start your career with an IT apprenticeship at Helaba and delve into the complex system world that keeps our bank running. No department can complete its tasks without IT. Everything must function, be constantly available, and meet high security requirements. For this, we need stable IT structures such as networks, servers, desktops, or collaboration tools. In our apprenticeship in Offenbach and Frankfurt, you will learn how all of this works together and take on the perspective of an end user. You will successfully connect hardware and software components to functional systems.

Your apprenticeship at a glance
  • Start: August 2025 / 3 years duration (with the possibility to take the final exam earlier with good performance)
  • Location: Practical training at the Frankfurt/Offenbach location, part-time classes at the August-Bebel-Schule in Offenbach
  • Content: Conception and implementation of IT system solutions / installation of network architectures / detection and defense of IT attack scenarios / collaboration with departments as customers / implementation of application solutions.
