    Description
    Join our Growing Portfolio Management Team


    Are you interested in contributing to the success of a leading firm in the distressed residential mortgage loan space? Our team is currently looking for an associate portfolio manager/trader to support our residential loan and securities business.

    As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with various departments and the head of the Firm to drive continued growth and success.

    Responsibilities

    Participate in trading activities related to U.S. residential mortgages and securitized products.
    Collaborate with trading and financing partners to evaluate financing options and capital market executions.
    Work alongside Transaction Management, Finance, Analytics, and Asset Management teams.
    Assist in building the infrastructure associated with portfolio management.
    Track due diligence and closing processes with the whole loan transaction management team.
    Assist in reconciling and processing monthly whole loan servicer remittance tapes.
    Manage daily risk position and portfolio P&L.
    Prepare reports for Senior Management review.
    Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or a related field.
    3-5 years of experience in structured products, specifically residential mortgages and securities.
    Proficiency in Intex and Excel; programming experience desired (e.g. SQL, Python).
    Excellent communication skills, organization, and attention to detail.
    Ability to work in Uptown Dallas office.
    US work authorization required; H1B visa sponsorship available.
