Description

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for assisting in the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the property.

Focus Areas of Responsibility

Work under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor to develop knowledge in various maintenance categories such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
Respond to tenant maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Operate and assist in maintaining mechanical equipment.
Complete and maintain logs.
Perform general repairs across the property.
Must be in rotation for "on call" schedule with other property team members and available to work off hours when needed.

Requirements:

High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
Strong mechanical aptitude.
Strong customer service orientation and the ability to professionally respond to tenant requests.

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
The employee must climb ladders to obtain roof access.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

***$2,000 Sign-On Bonus $500 after 30 days, then remainder after 6 months
