Job Duties:
Minimum job duties include the following.
- Monitor and resolve the health of the system infrastructure, workstations, servers. This includes supporting multiple networks and ensuring all IT administration tasks are completed, independently.
- Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization in written and verbal format.
- Responsible for ensuring the continued support and success of the organization. This may include configuring and building computers, loading necessary software, managing employee accounts, overseeing and maintaining backup systems, supporting patching and other operations, troubleshooting VoIP related issues, and other tasks as necessary.
- Responsible for resolving enduser helpdesk issues.
- Performs simple and complex diagnostic and troubleshooting in support of designated platforms.
- Documents actions performed in order to provide an auditable record. This may include, drafting, maintaining and adhering to Policies; Procedures; and Work Instructions associated to the IT Department.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Experience:
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Active Directory, Group Policy Objects, Terminal Services, Powershell or Command Line Scripting, Office365, Microsoft Teams, and similar integrations and configurations, and a general understanding of SQL and databasedriven environments.
- Basic understanding of TCP/IP Network Protocols, Security, Firewalls, Routing, Switches, VMWare, and VPN concepts.
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. 1-2 years of relevant experience in an IT support role, internships included.
Physical demands:
Must be able to stand and sit for prolonged periods. Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds on an occasional basis.
