The primary objective of this position is to provide high quality customer service to NEC students and families regarding financial aid, billing and payments.


Essential Duties Summary

  • Promptly answer incoming calls and make outreach calls;
  • Effectively and accurately communicate Federal and Institutional financial aid and billing polices and procedure;
  • Assist students to obtain all available funding to help cover account balances and assist with their account questions;
  • Assist students with the completion of financial aid and billing requirements;
  • Process and reconcile payments;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • 13 years customer service experience;
  • Associate's degree in Business, Finance or related field;
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a business office;
  • Experience working in higher education.
