    Description


    The Assistant Property Manager assists, and reports to, the Property Manager in leading property operations, financial activities, regulatory compliance, and guides interactions with all stakeholders - residents, RHF corporate personnel, regulatory agency officials, clients, community officials, vendors, and customers on the property.

    Due to the environment, we service, the Assistant Manager must be able display patience, understanding, and compassion while working in a fast-paced environment.

    Daily Duties and Administrative SupportThe Assistant Property Manager will assist with or complete the following tasks:

    Answers incoming calls and assists in answering questions and/or takes detailed messages for the Property Manager or MaintenanceAssists with correspondence to residents, other staff members, and outside agencies including vendors, city officials, and investorsAssists in contacting residents to schedule appointments and collect necessary documentation for Annual RecertificationsAssists in contacting vendors to schedule service or request bids/proposalsAssists in maintaining all resident and facility files to ensure complianceContacts applicants to schedule interviews and update status while keeping the Waiting List properly documented and updateIntake of general maintenance work orders from residents, creates work orders in OneSite and follows up with residents to ensure work has been completedAdvises Property Manager when office supplies need to be ordered, including postage stampsUpdates resident information in OneSite as neededAll other administrative duties as assignedExperience/SkillsMinimum of 2 years' office experience is requiredProperty Management experience is preferredProficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OneSite RealPage is preferredAbility to take direction and also work independentlyAbility to communicate effectively, verbally and written, with a diverse populationAbility to work in a fast paced, constant changing work environmentMust be able to multi-task various tasks while working with various people and situationsMust have excellent customer service and intrapersonal skillsMust be able to take initiative and work under pressure of critical deadlinesMust be highly organizedWhile this job description is intended to be an accurate reflection of the job requirements, management reserves the right to modify, add or remove duties from particular jobs and to assign other duties as necessary.
